How to Apply / Como Aplicar

By completing our pre-application, you agree to receive text messages from our enrollment line, and DocuSign accounts to complete the enrollment process.  

Once your application is received the enrollment office will follow up with text messages and/or phone calls to request eligibility documents and for a verification interview. From there you will be sent documents via DocuSign to review and complete.  Once complete, the health office will review to complete the process.  Your child will then be placed in a classroom or on the wait list if enrollment is at capacity.

Service Area

We serve the families of Floyd County.  Exceptions are only made for families living in Clark who work in Floyd County, who have children attending daycare in Floyd County, or when Clark approves because they are at capacity.


Categorically Eligible Applicants include:

Foster Children

Families receiving Public Assistance

Homeless Families*

*Families qualifying Homelessness by McKinney-Vento definition are entitled unique provisions as required by the McKinney-Vento Homless Act.


Income Eligibility

Determined by federal poverty guidelines.  Families above 100% of the guideline may also be enrolled depending on slot availability for that school year.

Age requirements
 
For our Home-Based Option, we accept pregnant mothers and children under 3 on August 1st of the current school year.

For the Center-Based Option, we accept children who have turned 1 and are not yet 5 by August 1st of that school year. 

 

Children ages 1 to 2 will be placed in Early Head Start.

Children ages 3 to 5 will be placed in Head Start.

  • Proof of ADDRESS (Utility bill, State I.D., Lease)

 

  • Well-check and Shot Records

 

  • Health Enrollment Documents
